In what has to be one of, if not, the greatest catches of Barbel from the Kennet (or the UK) this season Luke, Pallatrax's latest 'red-hot' field tester, took a stunning 17 Barbel and 2 Chub haul from the River Kennet.

Amongst the catch Luke took 5 double figure barbel, topped by a 15lb 1oz specimen and also added chub of 6lb & 7lb.

Luke used a bait dropper to introduce some mixed particle and Crustacean sticks/boilies then left it for well over an hour and a half before wetting a line. His end tackle consisted of a Pallatrax braid hooklink to a size 12 Pallatrax The Hook with a Stonze weight on 12lb Gamma mainline.
