A switch to the Stonze gets results!

"Most of my fishing is very limited - i dont fish for more that 2 or 3 hours maximum at a time, let alone think about doing over nighters, so every thing has to be perfect and i need 100% confidence in all my end rigs, its got to work FIRST time! I first came across Pallatrax about 4 years ago when i was carp fishing (now i have a missus!), they were awesome for stalking them on the bottom! Any way now i have moved on to the Barbel, and boy can they be riggy, my first few attempts resulted in a few fish, but the smaller ones, the big girls didn't want to know yet they would clear all the bait i had layed out for them. I went home dissapointed and thought about what was going on. While going through all my tackle that night i came across a couple of my old 'stonze' in the bottom of my bag, and the penny dropped, the reason i hadn't caught was because the big girls could see my bloody great lead in their face every time they went near my bait. Surely it wasnt that simple i thought, but it was worth a try. Next session out with every thing exactly the same as before exept i swapped my lead for a 'stonze' i had a 14lb 7oz barbel, enough said!!! Over the next 3 barbel trips i have had 4 more doubles to an amazing 18lb 15oz summer barbel! I wouldn't have caught these fish in such little time with out using the 'stonze' and thats the truth! Its such a simple idea and it works, you need to get on them now before everyone else on your water does!!"
