By Patrick Leigh @ 19:47 :: 269 Views :: Catch News

Keith wrote to Pallatrax and said

"Please find enclosed photo of the Carp known as "Cut Tail" at 40lb 3oz from a Beds. stillwater caught on the mini Jungle
boilies you sent to Derren and I . Also used a size 10 "The Hoook" with a medium inline silt "Stonze" fished method style incorporating the Method mix you sent mixed with Betaine green groundbait,various particles and pellet.

Yes I was targeting Tench but you can't choose what picks it up, right? more details of the capture can be found on my blog The Intrepid Piscator, a link to which should be below.
Cheers Keith Gurney(Browns Angling)"

Paddy Leigh from Pallatrax says " Indeed, you can't choose what picks a bait up and in no way does this discredit the capture at all. It's a cracking fish and to have landed it on light tench gear is a result itself and testament to the size 10 The Hook being used. Check out Shaun Passmores recent Jungle success too...
