"This fish was my 11th and final fish of the session on a lake near Crediton, Devon.  All fish fell to 18mm crave bottom baits fish over beds of mixed 14 and 18mm free offerings. It came right at the end of the day and I was in the process of packing the kit away, it does seem to be the time to get a bite down there! The fish fell to a hookbait fished on a coated braid/ leadclip arrangement and was coupled with a medium size silt Stonze weight. This was cast to an island overhang in around 7 feet of water and was fished totally locked up to avoid the fish making the security of the snags. It is one of only a handful of mirrors in the lake and has been on the missing list for a while . Next up hopefully I can improve on my pb again with one of the 30lb + commons or even the big girl at 40lb + and I'm sure the Crave and Stonze System will help me achieve this target .
