Andrew David – river hauling on Gripz, Multiworm and Meat BeastPallatrax Angling
After seeing the effort reaping rewards on the Team Pallatrax Fish-Ins, Andrew David (Team member) decided to pay a bit more attention to detail on a recent river session. In his own words – “Arriving at 8pm I had a wander down about 10 pegs to see what the conditions lay before me; a low, clear Severn that had fallen a few inches since the rain. I began feeding 2 pegs with hemp and micro pellet along the nearside crease and into the main flow. Using some homemade closed end cage feeders with a 4ft hooklink and the mighty Pallatrax Wide Gape Gripz at the business end, things started off slow with a couple of small chub, but as midnight got nearer the fish woke up with a thumping run from a fat chub being my first decent fish.
I kept the bait trickling in with the odd broken Multiworm or Meatbeast Squab to keep the scent looming. I then hit the shoal.
Rip roaring takes then filled the agenda with some mighty fine specimens queuing up to smash the Pallatrax goodies.
I packed up when the better half rang me because she thought I’d fallen in as I hadn’t replied to her messages ”
Great session yet again, Andrew – once more proving effort equals reward!
