Gatebeck Tarn

Venue Description

Gatebeck Tarn Fishery is a private, family-run, rural and quiet mixed coarse fishery situated at Gatebeck, near Endmoor, roughly four miles from Kendal off the A65. The ‘tarn’ was originally dug over 25 years ago and is now well established. Its shape is best described as an elongated doughnut over 6 acres of land and because of its length it feels canal-like to fish. Fish include Carp, Tench, Bream, Perch, Roach, and Rudd, Chubb. There are ample fishing pegs to choose from situated all round the tarn where we have seen 20lb+ carp caught over the years.
